Be part of Canada Pride 2027, taking place July 15–25, 2027 in Kjipuktuk/Halifax.
We’re inviting performers from Halifax, across Canada, and beyond to apply to be part of our 2027 festival programming. We welcome applications from emerging and established artists across a wide range of genres, styles, and performance disciplines.
Performer applications open October 1 and close December 1, 2026 at 11:59 PM AST
How to Apply
Before submitting your application, please review the Performer Application Information Package. It contains important information about the application and selection process, eligibility, expectations, and festival programming.
You can also review an example application before getting started to see what information you’ll be asked to provide.
Applications are submitted by genre. Choose the application that best represents your performance.
Within a single application, you can indicate your availability and submit one performance concept per application. You do not need to submit a separate application for each Canada Pride event.
Applications will ask for your or your group's contact information; details about your performance, including genre, group size and a description; and promotional materials, including a bio and social media links.
