Canada Pride is the national celebration of 2SLGBTQIA+ communities in Canada. Hosted by a different city every few years, it brings together Pride organizations, community leaders, artists, performers, advocates, and visitors from across the country for a large-scale festival and national gathering.
Canada Pride 2027 will take place in Halifax, Nova Scotia from July 15–25, 2027, alongside the Halifax Pride Festival. -
In 2024, Halifax Pride was selected by Fierté Canada Pride to host Canada Pride 2027, making Halifax the first city in Atlantic Canada to host the event.
Known for its vibrant queer community, East Coast hospitality, and strong history of Pride celebrations, Halifax is proud to welcome visitors from across Canada and around the world for this historic event.

Halifax Pride takes place every year and is one of Atlantic Canada's largest Pride festivals. Canada Pride 2027 will build on that foundation by adding national programming, larger-scale events, and visitors from across the country.
